Red-Headed Woodpecker Red-Headed Woodpeckers are hard to capture with the camera and the pictures do not do justice to the brilliant colors. |

Red-Tailed Hawk There seems to be a hawk nest fairly close by, and our abundance of squirrels seem to keep the hawks well-fed. |

Turkey The turkeys around here are very skittish around people, but we have seen anywhere from one to a group of eight. |

Hoot Owl (Barred Owl) Owls are really neat - usually we see them flying through the trees. I don't know how they fly so well through the trees without hitting branches - they seem so huge. I've also seen them catching grasshoppers and mice in our front yard. |

Bird Feeder We have a couple bird feeders around the house. Frequent visitors include cardinals, goldfinches, and of course, squirrels and even raccoons. |

White-Tailed Deer And of course we have tons of deer. |
