Spent most of the day at home - playing in a new little kiddie pool in the backyard, and eating watermelon (half of a pretty big watermelon!) We did venture out to the vegetable stand down the road and got some fresh vegetables to supplement some we already had from a very nice co-worker of Marty's. We ended up grilling steak, sweet potatoes, a whole green pepper, bananas (one with brown sugar, one with honey), and a medley of squash, zucchini, red potatoes, and onions. We also had fresh okra and sliced cucumbers. The girls also helped me make an Apricot Nectar Cake. All in all, a very fun day.
