Outer Banks → September 20 - 24, 2004
We have been working so hard (both of us having 2 jobs) that we just wanted to take a break from all of it! Up until Sunday afternoon, they were calling for rain all week. But then Sunday evening they changed the forecast to sunny and cool all week. So we booked a room for a couple nights at Manteo, NC and hit the road on the bikes Monday morning. It was uneventful and we only spent 2 nights at the coast, and we spent the rest of the week at home relaxing. It was perfect!
